One of the WCBF advocates Mr. Hank Aaron has passed away on January 22, 2021. He was 86 years old.
He had always looked forward to WCBF held every year.
The last time he participated in WCBF was in 2015 in Chiba.
We can't forget him watching over the kids with smile.
Please accept our sincerest condolences.

The following is the comment from our Chairman Mr. Oh.

He kept a world record of 755 home runs at that time. He was just great in everything.
He was a true gentleman and a paragon for the major leaguers.
Hank and I started the World Children's Baseball Fair Foundation together to spread baseball all over the world from the US by Hank and from Japan by me.
He contributed to spread baseball among kids by coming to World Children's Baseball Fair held every summer when he was available.
He wasn't able to come in recent years, but he always kept us in mind.
He had a wonderful baseball life.
Thank you for everything.
I would like to send my deepest condolences.
